The Dermapen is a spring automated device with a disposable tip containing eleven stainless steel micro needles that penetrate the skin using a stamp-like motion. Unlike traditional microneedling tools that come in one needle length, the Dermapen’s needles can be adjusted in length during the course of the procedure to accommodate different treatment areas. For example, the tougher skin on the forehead and cheeks may require a longer needle length than the more sensitive skin areas such as around the eyes, nose, and mouth. The vertical stamping motion penetrates all skin types, textures, and pigments without the risk of bending, breaking, or causing unnecessary epidermal damage. This allows estheticians to have more control, to cater to individual needs, and minimize pain and bleeding.
